Youth Carnival and Ice Cream Social
Date: Wednesday, June 11
Time: 3:00-6:00pm
Location: Riverside Park (at the City of Kamloops Pride Open House)
Celebrate Pride with Ice Cream & Fun at Riverside Park! Come hang out with Kamloops Pride Youth Outreach and Out on Patrol for a super fun Ice Cream Social & Youth Carnival!

The First 100 Youth under 18 get FREE ice cream. Thank you to Out on Patrol and Kamloops Pride Sponsors.

Enjoy carnival games, creative crafts, cool prizes and more! Bring your friends, enjoy the sunshine, and celebrate community, diversity, and fun!

Stoplight Party: A Queer Club Experience
Help us celebrate Pride Month in style with killer beats and the infectious energy of The Effie. Don’t forget to grab a glow stick on your way in!

Whether you identify as 2SLGBTQPIA+ or an ally, this party is for everyone who believes in equality and inclusivity. Bring your friends!

Pride Parade
Date: Sunday, June 15
Time: 11:00am
Location: Victoria Street from 2nd to 5th Ave
Come together with Kamloops Pride, our 2SLGBTQPIA+ community, organizations, and allies as we march proudly through the heart of Kamloops!
​
The parade kicks off at 11 AM on the corner of 2nd Ave and Seymour Street, turning onto Victoria Street and heading East, concluding at 5th Avenue. Let’s unite for a day filled with inclusivity, diversity, and PRIDE!
​
Staging begins at 9 AM on St. Paul Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenue. Registered groups must check in at the tent located at 3rd Ave and St. Paul Street. An accessible port-a-potty will be available in the staging area.
​
Community Members: If you’d like to march with us, please meet up with the Kamloops Pride group on 2nd Ave and St. Paul Street before 10:30 AM.

Important Reminders:

Please respect our city by keeping the route clean. Remove any garbage or recycling created by your group.

As per City of Kamloops regulations, please refrain from using confetti, glitter, chalk, paint, spray paint, or any other substances that might mark city or private property.

Items may be handed out by walkers but cannot be thrown from vehicles or floats.
-
Be mindful of prohibited items and actions: no alcohol, drugs, fireworks, open fires, or pyrotechnics. No handing out food or drinks, collecting donations, or public nudity (Criminal Code section 174.1).

While political campaigning is not supported, passive display of signage and logos is permitted.

Kamloops Pride reserves the right to refuse entry to any organization acting against our mission, values, or those of the 2SLGBTQPIA+ and intersecting communities.

Parade viewers are kindly asked not to approach moving vehicles.

FruitCake: After Party
Get ready for an unforgettable night at the "FruitCake: Afterparty," the official after party for the Kamloops Pride Festival 2025! Join us at Nightshift on 5th for an evening filled with fabulous entertainment, vibrant energy, and pure celebration.

Pride Trivia (19+)
Join us and Stevie Nips at Red Collar Brewing & Distilling Co. for a night of fun and friendly competition. Test your knowledge on all things 2SLGBTQPIA+ while enjoying great company and delicious drinks, plus incredible performances from Stevie Nips in between rounds. Show off your expertise on queer history, pop culture, and more.

Rainbow Reads Story Time with Autumn Horizon
Date: Saturday, June 14
Time: 10am-12pm
Location: John Tod Centre (150 Wood St)
Join Autumn Horizon for storytime and a craft! We will be making bookmarks together. Registration is required. ​

Open to all ages, please ensure a caregiver stays with children. In partnership with Kamloops Y Healthy Kids Week.

Pride Festival

This year we’re so excited to have Kendall Gender joining us as our host! Finishing in the top 3 on season 2 of Canada’s Drag Race, Kendall has continued making her mark in Vancouver and across the country with jaw dropping performances, show stopping fashion, and her incredible philanthropic work. We can’t wait to welcome her to the Kamloops Pride Festival for the first time.

Enjoy live performances from local talents at the bandshell, indulge in mouthwatering offerings from a diverse lineup of food trucks, and explore the creativity of local artists and artisans.

Whether you’re flying solo or coming with friends and family, there’s something for everyone—fun activities, local business vendors, and opportunities to connect with community outreach groups. Let’s come together for a day of inclusivity, diversity, and PRIDE!
